Cabbage soup with spicy sausage
- Ingredients for 4 portions:
- 1 big onion
- 3 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons of ground mild paprika spice
- 1 teaspoons of cummin
- 1,5 liters of water
- 700 g of pickled cabbage
- 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 350 g of smoked sausage
- 3 dl of creme fraiche
Preparation:
Chop onions into small pieces and fry on oil. Add pickled cabbage and fry together for about 1 minute, pour over with water and cook. Add ground paprika spice, black pepper, bay leaves and pressed garlic. Mix together, add the chopped sausage and cook for about 40-50 minutes. Add salt according to taste. At the end you can add the whipped creme fraiche.
